Dr. Manji currently serves as Assistant Professor & Head of Dental Education Department at Fatima Memorial College of Medicine & Dentistry, Lahore. She teaches, mentors, and develops curricula, ensuring that the next generation of dental professionals are trained under modern, integrated, and competency-based systems.
Dr. Manji played a formal role in designing Pakistan’s new BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) curriculum. In the official 2024-25 UHS BDS curriculum documents, she is named as a member of the “BDS Integrated Curriculum 2K25” sub-steering committee, working group, research committee & PRISME. These committees, led by senior educators and the UHS Board of Studies, prepared Pakistan’s first five-year modular BDS curriculum. Dr. Manji’s inclusion on these national curriculum committees is concrete evidence of her contributions to dental education policy. In sum, she helped to craft a national dental curriculum aligned with global standards, integrating professionalism, ethics and clinical skills is a major advance in Pakistani dental training.
